How to Prepare for a General Illness Appointment
To ensure a smooth appointment and proper diagnosis:
Document Your Symptoms: Note when your symptoms began, any triggers, and whether they’ve worsened or improved.
List Medications: Bring a list of current medications and supplements.
Hydrate & Rest: Adequate rest and hydration help your body and support diagnostic accuracy.
Avoid Self-Medication: Avoid starting new over-the-counter treatments without professional guidance.
What to Expect From Your Appointment
When you visit Cure MD for general illness or infection:

Your Questions, Answered
What symptoms or conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of acute illnesses — including coughs, sore throats, ear infections, urinary tract infections, stomach flu, and other common ailments. Our focus is timely, evidence-based care to help you recover quickly and comfortably.
Do you provide prescriptions or testing on-site?
Yes. If indicated, your provider can issue prescriptions and order lab or imaging tests directly during your visit. Our goal is to make your care as seamless and efficient as possible.
When should I go to urgent care or the ER instead?
If you’re experiencing severe shortness of breath, chest pain, high fever unresponsive to medication, or symptoms that worsen rapidly, it’s best to seek emergency care. For non-emergency but pressing health concerns, our team is here to help promptly. In an emergency situation we recommend to call 911.
Do you accept walk-ins for general illness visits?
Yes, we accommodate walk-in appointments whenever possible. However, booking ahead ensures shorter wait times and allows us to prepare for any necessary testing or procedures during your visit.
Can I get a same-day appointment if I’m feeling unwell?
Absolutely. We offer same-day bookings for most acute illnesses so you can be seen quickly and start treatment right away. Simply walk in, call, or submit a form below, and we’ll do our best to see you that day.
